1. Internal: This type of motivation comes from within and is driven by personal desires, needs, and goals
2. External: This type of motivation is influenced by external factors such as rewards, praise, or consequences.

Internal motivation:
Let’s say you’ve always had a burning desire to write a novel. That burning desire is an example of internal motivation.
External motivation:
Imagine you are working on a big project at work because your boss has promised a significant bonus and public recognition for its successful completion. The prospect of the bonus and the praise from your boss are examples of external motivation.

2. The 2nd component of motivation is persistence.

- It’s the steadfast determination that keeps you moving forward, even when faced with obstacles, setbacks, or moments of doubt.
3. The 3rd and final component of motivation is intensity.
- This refers to the amount of effort and energy you put into achieving a goal.
- Intensity is the driving force that propels you to put forth your best effort consistently, pushing your boundaries and maximizing your potential.
